Retreat at Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai, India

At the foot of beloved Arunachala in South India, we gather for a full month to rest in the heart of Silence. The quiet refuge of the Center for Bhrathiya Dharmic and Cultural Studies is located in the small village of Adiannamalai which is approximately 6 km from Sri Ramanasramam in Tiruvannamalai. This beautifully lush and rustic sanctuary rests on the north side of the holy mountain.

Two open satsangs will also be offered to the public in the days prior to the retreat, Sunday, December 29 & Monday, December 30 at 11:00 am, located at Ramana Towers in Tiruvannamalai. You are most welcome to join us.

Includes twice daily sessions, beginning with silent meditation followed by satsang:

LODGING AT THE CENTER FOR BHRATHIYA DHARMIC & CULTURAL STUDIES

Room and board are available at the retreat site from December 27th, 2019 through January 29th, 2020. Lodging includes three daily vegetarian meals as well as chai/coffee in the early morning and mid-afternoon. Check out time is noon on January 29th - we ask that this be honored as the Center will need time to prepare for another incoming group. Please note that rooms are only available for the full month long stay. We are unable to offer part-time or nightly rates.

  • Shared room or cabin for two with bath: Cost $695.00 SOLD OUT

  • Hostel/Private room with shared bath: Cost $545.00 SOLD OUT

  • Dorm room with shared bath: Cost $440.00 (Available for Men Only)

  • Please make your full donation for both the retreat and housing at the ashram, if applicable, at the time of registration.

  • All payments are due in full by November 15th.

  • Refunds for housing will be less a 20% fee a month prior to the retreat (December 1st) and a 50% fee two weeks prior to the first day of retreat (December 15th)
