Travel Information for Spain

We welcome you to Devaji's public Satsangs in Spain. We have gathered some helpful information about the area and travelling to the retreat which we hope will aid you as you plan your trip.

ABOUT THE AREA

Orgiva is a lovely, small town, set in the Alpujarra mountains, Andalucia, Southern Spain. The nearest airport is Granada (1 hours drive away) but usually easier to fly to Malaga for international flights (90 mins)

There are buses from both the airports to Orgiva but not direct and dependable on the hour you arrive. See https://www.alsa.com/en/web/bus/home  for options on this.

The easiest and quickest way to get to Orgiva is to arrange a local driver to pick you up. The cost is around 90/100 euros from Malaga and 60 from Granada and can be shared. Please contact Leonie - leonie.devaji@gmail.com if you would like a pick up arranged.

Accommodation 

We can offer accommodation for a minimum of 10 people at The House of Light Retreat Centre, Órgiva for €60 Bed & Breakfast for the nights of August 12th & 13th. The space will be held in silence and there will be full use of the swimming pool and yoga hall. Alternatively, there are lots of lovely villas and guesthouses to rent in the area but August can be busy and more expensive, so it’s a good idea to arrange something asap. You’re very welcome to contact us for help with this..
